Recognizing Drug & Alcohol Abuse/Misuse Training For Supervisors
A number of the Department of Transportation disciplines require all supervisors of safety sensitive employees to complete two hours of training in recognizing the signs and symptoms of drug and alcohol abuse/misuse in the workplace. Oschmann Employee Screening Services offers this training session to help you meet this requirement. The seminar provides supervisors with the necessary tools to help determine reasonable cause situations.

Supervisors must have this training in order to send a safety-sensitive employee for a Reasonable Cause Drug or Alcohol test. This seminar is a must if you supervise employees who are covered under the Department of Transportation regulations or a company Drug Free Workplace program. The concepts are universal.

Oschmann Employee Screening Services offers this seminar 3-4 times annually, however we can schedule a seminar for your company upon request (minimum attendance required).

Motor Carrier Compliance Training
Oschmann Employee Screening Services offers a variety of motor carrier compliance training programs upon request. Some of the training options include hours of service, load securement, vehicle inspections, etc. In addition to our professional team, we will invite law enforcement or other DOT professionals to assist with this training upon request.

Certified Professional Collector Training
The Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR 40) and general industry consensus has determined the need for a program providing collection personnel with the training necessary to become proficient in urine specimen collection for drug testing in the work place. Such a program will aim to ensure that the collection is performed in a professional and consistent manner, maintaining confidentiality for the donor and security, integrity and control of the specimen. The course includes the performing of 5 consecutive error-free mock collections as required by the DOT. Certified Professional Collector training is scheduled upon request.

Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) Training
Depending on your needs, our professional, certified training team can provide Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) certification. This training includes instruction in all aspects of proper testing procedures in order to meet the requirement of the DOT regulations. The course also offers Lifeloc Technologies equipment operations and calibration certification for use of the Phoenix evidential breath tester in workplace alcohol programs.
